DANCING UNDER THE STARS

Piece Together is a track by Reverso 68 (Pete Herbet & Phil Mison) which was released back in 2004 on their own label 'Special Interest'. A couple of years on and Eskimo have decided to re release it, and I'm not complaining. The tune is an amazing piece of laid back disco goodness. Flip it over to the B side and we get a mix courtesy of Todd Terge AKA Tangoterge AKA Wade Nichols AKA Lord of the re-edit. It's no surprise that the remix is solid. The track is slowed down and transformed into a chugging dubbed out groove. With exception of the new P-diddy fragrance, this could well be the freshest thing to come out in the past few months.

Staying on the Eskimo Recordings tip here's some Balearic style Cosmic Disco (that sound that's so hot right now) from Aeroplane, the project of two Belgian dudes Vito De Luca & DJ Stephen from Dirty Dancing and Make-Up Club fame. This track is the B side from their debut 12" release, which has been getting a lot of play over the last couple of months from various big names including Lindstrom and Prins Thomas. Keep your eyes out for some more releases soon from these guys.

And here is a new track from Glass Candy which features on their new tour album 'Beat Box'. I'm sure somewhere, someone has probably posted this on a blog already, as these guys are getting a fair amount of press right now. However the attention is well deserved because they are producing some killer music. This track features their trademark cosmic disco sound tied in with a bass line that sounds like something out of a Mr. Oizo tune...
