One of my all time favorite Disco albums is 'Going Through The Motions' by Brixton group Hot Chocolate. Don't be fooled by its cover, you wont find love ballads here, just jams. Released in 1979, this album was a departure from much of their earlier material in that it was almost entirely geared at dance floors and adopted some out of control synths following the influence of the 1977 Moroder / Donna Summer hit 'I Feel Love'. Whilst the group are best known today for their hits such as 'Every 1's A Winner' and 'You Sexy Thing', their best material in my opinion appears on this album.
